Thoughts have transformative power with immense possibilities and power. According to Gautama Buddha,
“Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your thoughts, unguarded. But once mastered, no one can help you as much.”
Therefore, the main objective of Yoga and meditation is to control your mind and thoughts.
Our actions are nothing but a manifestation of the thoughts that we generate. Therefore, if you learn to use the power of positive thoughts, you can completely change your life.
Thoughts can help in creating a fulfilling and happy life. The brain is very agile, and it can adapt to the changes that we bring about in the thinking process.
In the words of Charles Haanel,
“The predominant thought or the mental attitude is the magnet, and the law is that like attracts like. Consequently, the mental attitude will invariably attract such conditions as to correspond to its nature.”
How Can You Change Your Thoughts?
You might think it is easier said than done. But in reality, you can use some useful and practical techniques to change your thoughts.
Some of the techniques that have worked well for me are:
- Create positive vibrations by doing things you like, such as singing, dancing, meeting friends, etc.
- Practice meditation even if it is for 5 to 10 minutes in the beginning.
- Smile even if you don’t want to, and you will notice a change in your mood.
According to research, smiling has the power to rewire your brain, and it can help in creating positive patterns. So, why not try it out!
How To Use The Power of Thought Energy?
If you treat thought as energy, you will be able to utilize it with full awareness. It is important to note that your mind generates numerous thoughts every second, and all these thoughts may not have the same energy and power.
To manifest your thoughts into something tangible, you need to make them powerful.
But how do you make the thoughts powerful enough?
Here are the ways!
- Be more aware of the thoughts that you want to manifest into reality.
- Repeat and extend those thoughts many times.
- Increase your mental energy by practicing Yoga and meditation.
When you are aware of your thoughts and repeat them many times, you give them the power to be dominant in your conscious and subconscious mind.
Hence, they become stronger and help you make them a reality. Moreover, when you practice Yoga and meditation, you increase your mental energies to manifest your thoughts powerfully.
Lastly, some introspection on the kinds of thoughts that your mind generates will help you detach yourself from having negative thought generation.
Understanding the root cause of the negative thoughts will help you convert them into constructive and positive thoughts leading you to create magic for yourself and everyone around you.
To sum up, it is safe to say that you can drastically change your life by changing your thoughts. Recent studies published in peer-reviewed journals also stated that positive thinking could lead to strong immunity, positive emotions, happiness, and reduce anxiety greatly. All this leads to good sleep and good health.
