I am a person who talks to herself a lot. The internal dialogue coming from my brain keeps me company through thick and thin, all the time while I am awake.

Sometimes it’s a great friend. Sometimes, it’s a bully. And even if it’s for just a moment, I tend to believe what it says. That is the prowess of our inner voice, our thoughts.

And that is why, the practice of reframing negative thoughts is a must to loosen the venomous grip of our thoughts on our body, mind and soul.

But, how do we free our body, mind and soul from the grip of our own brain?

How does the abstract concept of reframing negative thoughts become a practice?

Why is a Positive Mind-Set Important?

How often do we look in the mirror and compliment ourselves? How often do we look at our creations and marvel at our artistry?

Our most severe deficit lies in our inability to appreciate our body, mind and soul.

Our brain is adept at rattling us with critical and extreme comments. There is no stopping it from blurting out what comes into its mind first.

It is our responsibility to differentiate between truth from lies for reframing negative thoughts.

A positive self-image is important while being aware of our shortcomings. Once we know and accept ourselves, these comments won’t have much effect on us.

Loving others comes easy to most people. The greatest challenge lies in loving oneself, one’s body, mind and soul.
